Michael Durham

Michael Durham is a U.K. born artist and educator who has lived and worked in London since 1970. He retired as an art professor from Fanshawe College in 2003 and since then he has been painting up a storm and creating art. This exhibition is a selection of works including watercolours, mixed media collages, and large sumptuously colourful acrylic painting on plywood. Michael is inspired by everything it seems, extensive travel, reading, dreaming, and collecting. His collages are worked and recycled and reworked with objects and clippings and souvenirs. The huge acrylic paintings are vivid and bright dreamlike in which to lose oneself. The show runs from Saturday, September 7 to Saturday October 5.
